Terms of use

Last updated October 15, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Jason Psanis for the PermitPro app and this website. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

What PermitPro is

PermitPro is a study tool for the learner's permit knowledge test. Its questions are modeled on each state's published rules and test format. PermitPro is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any DMV or government agency.

No guarantee of passing

PermitPro is practice. We do not guarantee that you will pass, on your first attempt or any later one. Your state writes the official test and can change it. Use the app alongside your state's current driver's manual.

Age

PermitPro is intended for users 13 and older. If you are a minor, you may use the app only with a parent or guardian's consent.

Not legal or driving advice

The content is for study and general information. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for your state's official driver's manual or a licensed driving instructor.

Free tier and subscriptions

The free tier includes limited daily Quick Quizzes and a Daily Challenge. PermitPro+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription at $5.99 per week, processed by Apple. PermitPro Welcome Back is a separate auto-renewing subscription at $2.99 per week. Free users see Welcome Back once: if they dismissed the main paywall, it appears the next time they open the paywall, and only when that is at least 24 hours later. It is not shown right after a dismissal, and it is not shown again.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Each subscription renews every week unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current week. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current week, at $5.99 for PermitPro+ or $2.99 for Welcome Back. Manage or cancel either subscription in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting your PermitPro account does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under your App Store account terms. Apple keeps its own purchase records.

Acceptable use

Use the app for your own study. Don't copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the questions or other content, and don't try to break, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the app.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is.” To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of it, including a failed test. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
